MTH Tinplate Traditions 214R Reefer Car

This is an MTH Tinplate Traditions reproduction of a Lionel 214R Standard gauge Reefer Car. Box couplers on both ends. The car is white with a peacock blue roof with brass trim.

This car was cataloged in 1996, was bought new, and has been used for display only. It has only been run for testing. All original packaging and documentation is included.

I had some trouble with color balance while photographing this car. To my eye, the picture of the roof gives the best representation of its color. It is a very pretty light blue. Click on any picture to enlarge it.

This is a very pretty car. All metal construction, with metal wheels and axles. Lionel style metal box couplers. Doors open, held closed with an operating metal latch.
