This is an MTH Tinplate Traditions reproduction of a Lionel 214 Standard gauge Box Car. Box couplers on both ends. Two sliding doors on each side.
The bright, shiny colors on tinplate cars are tricky to photograph. In particular, I had a lot of trouble with white balance. The car is bright yellow, and the roof fairly light brown.
This car was bought new in 1996, and has been used for display only. All original packaging and documentation is included.
